I tried to post this in the bug forum, but kept getting the message that I had to be registered or logged in.

If you add a multiselect dropdown type field and make it searchable, simple search stops working (advanced search still works). When you try to do a simple search on any field, you no longer get any search results being returned. So, say you have a gender ratio button field and an abilities field that is multiselect dropdown. When you a simple search on gender, search results are 0. If you turn searching off on the abilities field and then do a gender search, you get the correct results.

I see that the range simple search problem has already been reported.

Hope this can be fixed for 1.2 Stable as well.

I confirm this bug, which is annoying, since as far as I've found there is no cb_search (advance search component for Joomla 1.5)

Any solutions?
