Hi,

I know this has been discussed before but i cant see a real solution for j1.5 with rc4. I have a networking site and my users are requesting that the 'request connection' tab is put in a more obvious position, link underneath the stats in or by the head area. It seems like an obvious place to put it to me, but i only want the request connection tab there..

how can this be done..

I have the same request. I would like my connection request to display as a basic link either next to the avatar pic or even in a module.. Has anybody figured this one out.. If I do figure some sort of solution for this then I will post here. :woohoo:

replacement tags can be used in delimiter fields, in descriptions, in titles, field names, and so on:


[code:1]--- Connections:

Manage My Connections:
_UE_MENU_CONNECTIONS : _UE_MENU_MANAGEMYCONNECTIONS

Request connection:
_UE_MENU_CONNECTIONS : _UE_ADDCONNECTIONREQUEST

or, depending on your connections settings in global CB configuration / connections:

_UE_MENU_CONNECTIONS : _UE_ADDCONNECTION

Remove connection:
_UE_MENU_CONNECTIONS : _UE_REMOVECONNECTION

Remove connection request:
_UE_MENU_CONNECTIONS : _UE_REVOKECONNECTIONREQUEST

you can also combine with [cbif ...] statements (search forum for cbif for more info).

Ok great. I tried this and I got it to work. But now I have have another problem. 1stly if I disable the cb_menu then the request connection is gone. Is there a way to have this active without having the CB_menu published. 2ndly I would like the request connection to display in the user lists. I have added the desired fields and it displays the title but a link is not listed.. Can anybody help with this one..
