Can't edit user dtails after a migration

15 years 1 month ago #90720 by jay44
Hi

I have migrated all the tables from an old 1.0.12 site to 1.5.9

In the Front end:

A new user can register ok,
When you hit 'save' after editing your details you get a message
"! DB Function reports no errors" in a pop up box, and the site hangs

If you click on the user name, after the edit, "You are not authorized to view this resource"

The site has the constant error E_NOLOGIN_ACCESS

In the backend - you cannot search these users any more, BUT you can see that they exist because they are counted in the search

After lots of investigation of user tables, and synching in CB i have-

jos_comprofiler 1,277
jos_core_acl_aro 1,357
jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map 1,353
jos_users 1,277

Are these all meant to be the same size?

Sorry to be so clueless

some errors fixed with the Tools
BUT
every time a user edits,
When you hit 'save' you get a message
"! DB Function reports no errors" in a pop up box

When you try to log in again, the site has the error E_NOLOGIN_ACCESS

Using the tools again-
Checking Users Datbase:

All Community Builder comprofiler table rows have links to user table.

All users table rows have links to comprofiler table.

users table has no zero id row.

comprofiler table has no zero id row.

All rows in comprofiler table have user_id columns identical to id columns.

All users table rows have ACL entries in core_acl_aro table.

All ACL core_acl_aro table rows have corresponding entries in users table.

Warning: 1 entries in the core_acl_aro table without corresponding core_acl_groups_aro_map table rows.

Following entries of core_acl_aro table are missing in core_acl_groups_aro_map table: user id=4746 (aro_id=3543).

This one can be fixed by first backing up database then by clicking here.

All core_acl_aro table rows have ACL entries in core_acl_groups_aro_map table.

Clicking for the fix gives:
"Added 1 new entries to core_acl_groups_aro_map table from core_acl_aro Table."

Hope someone can help

J
