after installing 1.2 from 1.2 rc4 I had this problem

this error msg is displayed on eventlist's event

I don't have cmslib directory, leading me to believe this is an Eventlist error. Please check with their FAQ or forum to find a resolution or report the error.

Well...

1) file components/libraries/cmslib/db/mysql.php
is not part of CB and does not follow any CMS directory structure

2) maybe your PHP is < 4.3 ?
us.php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-real-escape-string.php

So i guess it's a pure coincidence, or your istallation didn't follow exact installation steps.

Or your hoster disabled that function ???

Doesn't look like a cb bug at first glance.
