Searching values in multi-select lists

Searching values in multi-select lists was created by leblancs
I have a multi-select list as a searchable field. When searching on this field, currently users must select every applicable value in order to receive a result. I want to be able to match users that have any one of the values I've selected, not just all of the values. For instance:

User:User1
Multi-select:Option1,Option2

If I search, currently I must select BOTH Option1 AND Option2 in order for this user to show up in my results.

I want to be able to select Option1 OR Option2 and still have the user appear in the results.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks!

The "simple, contains any search" option in your user list allows you to choose both options and find any user that has either of them. "Simple, any word" search should allow you to pull it up the way you want.
