I'm having trouble getting the moderation workflow going... I must be missing something but I've read all the documents and set everything how I believe it should be.

Here is what I've done:

joomla 1.5.8
cb 1.2 stable
mod_cblogin is enabled
mod_comprofilermoderator is enabled


in CB->ConfigManager->Moderation
Set moderator groups to: editors
Set moderator approve users to: yes
Set Send Moderators Email to: Yes
Set Allow User Reports to: Yes
Set Require Upload Image Approval to: No
Set Allow Moderators to Edit User Profiles to: No
Set Allow Profile Banning to: Yes

Users with "publisher" status and settings:
Approve User: Yes
Confirm User: Yes
Receive Moderator Emails: Yes

Here is what happens:

An editor level user submits an article.
The article is saved and unpublished.
The users with publisher level access do not receive any emails.
There is nothing in the "workflow" mod but "No Pending Actions"


Can anyone help with this? I'm dying to get this to work. Many thanks in advance.

First, Moderators are assigned in forums. They moderate posts, move them, edit them, etc. When someone posts a new post, they should receive an email, as long as their profile preferences are not disabling mail.

User-levels let the system know, through Joomla and other extensions by way of Joomla user-levels, what content can be published, edited, etc. Content is articles, not forum posts.

I think this is where the confusion lies?

Oh boy. Thanks for the clarification. I thought there was a function to moderate (and publish) articles within the CB workflow.
