Ok, so our site is about to launch but I was looking for some suggestion about how to setup a trial period for our site. Basically we want have a plan that is $100 a month, but we want to offer it for free for 6 months from the time the site launches, not when they sign up. So it will be free for everybody till around the end of the year, then they will have to pay to continue usage. How would this best be done. Is there any way to setup a plan to be free until a certain date? Would it be best done by simply setting the price to 0 and then manually changing the price when the time comes? If we did that, what would happen with all the current subscribers? Would they be changed to inactive, kicked off the plan, or would they simply continue being subscribed for free. They would have never entered any credit card info in the past since it was initially free. Would we have to manually unsubscribe them from the plan and then change the price and give them a chance to upgrade back to it?

In CBSubs 1.0.1:

- either set it calendar year if it launches in 2n part of June that would make approx 6 months.

- or use a query to adjust the first expiration (please search forum for more discussions on that)

We plan to make dates even *more* flexible in an upcoming feature release.
