Hi,
I have a custom registration field that is not validating when I attempt to create a new profile.
It's a multi-checkbox, but it's giving a validation error message that there are too many text characters, when there are no characters.
More precisely, here is a cut and paste of the error message--
"CHECK ALL SERVICES THAT YOU OFFER : Please enter a valid CHECK ALL SERVICES THAT YOU OFFER: maximum 15 characters: you entered 50 characters.
Registration"
Prior to this it sad "86" characters instead of "50" as it does now.
I'm wondering if prior to setting the check-box parameter, that I may have initially set a text character limit.
**I am not sure of this, though-- I thought I did that for something else.
Also there are about 50 check-box fields. Is that a problem, could that be causing this?
I did read the documentation and have tried some searches on the forum.
I am also uploading three screen shots (just in case that helps, 1) the back-end of the custom field parameters screen for that custom field. 2) the custom registration form and 3) the error message.

It turns out that it was the field length that was too short. Resolved.
