Support plans using CBSubs was created by versadial
Our goal is to use CBSubs in order to create user support plans for purchases of our phone recording systems with software. Our customers buy our product and they are given one year of support which enables them to access our download area, installation guides and forum access. Well, this is the plan. We also want the system to email us and the client when the support plan is ready to expire. This way we can follow up and/or give the client the ability to renew his support plan. Has anyone done anything similar to this, and if so, could you please share with me some of the basic things you setup/configured in order to accomplish the procedure?

I suggest you read the manual very carefully (preferably multiple times) and examine your possibilities after learning of each plugin.

CBSubs Content will allow you to restrict your forums and downloads. You could then use CBSubs Emails to send out the necessary emails.
