User lists

Hey guys, a new user here. I have inherited a website that has only one combined name field. The users want me to list them by lastname. I have no clue what I need to do to accomplish this. Help-any suggestions? Brent

You can do this using the CB query field premium plugin. If you do have access to PHPMyAdmin or ssh you cna also do it using SQL code (see stackoverflow.com/questions/2696884/split-value-from-one-field-to-two etc). You can then populate the predefined First and Last Name fields.

(there might be easier options I cannot think of right now, though)

Thanks, but I went in and added a firstname lastname field, took out the "name" field and then updated all of the members. It was a pain but it's done-Brent.
