Enabling posting images, flairs and search

I have forgotten where to enable the ability for users to upload images in posts and how to control size limits, etc.

Also, I just noticed in your demo "Flairs". (Neat!)    Is this a post tagging feature that can be used in search filtering?
How do I configure and enable these as well?     (UPDATE:  found it under Plugin Management / Activity / Streams / Activity -  Individually configured inside each stream (eg. Recent, Profile Profile Fields, CB GroupsJive)

Yup, it's basically post tagging/flair system. Posts can be filtered by their selected flair. Flair can also apply effects to posts. So for example Adult and Spoiler require clicking to view a post.

Oh neat, sort of like those blurred "viewer discretion" warnings that appear in posts on social media.

Are the Adult and Spoiler already preconfigured to do that? 

And where would I enable the search function?  I'm at a loss for where to set that up.
(Found it: Activity/Stream/Activity/(selected stream)/Filters) But I have a follow-up question:  How do I have the search function inside a group only search for posts within that group?  The Stream I selected in the GroupJive/Configuration/Integrations is CB Group Jive, but when I tested out the search (a member's name) inside the group, it pulled in posts from "Recent Activity" that were not posted in the group.

Also, I don't recall how to enable the ability to upload images (both in activity and within Groups).  In the case of Group, I don't necessarily need the Photo tab.

Yup, there are plans to extend flair even more in future releases as well with additional special effects.

It should only be searching posts within your group. Was able to confirm this though. That looks like a bug. Have added a bug ticket to fix. Will try to have a fix out today if possible.

Edit the stream you want to have a gallery then under Display you should see a section to enable the gallery. The gallery itself can also be configured under Integrations > CB Gallery to toggle what features you want to allow for those uploads. It should've been enabled by default though so unless it migrated your stream settings from an older release of CB Gallery it was turned off at some point.

Ok, searching within groups is now fixed in latest build release. The handling of the "only" modifier on assets was substantially improved to more reliably filter as expected. It will now search against the default asset as was intended.

Now that I'm digging a bit deeper with the search feature, I just have some follow-up questions 

1. I was wondering what sort of things the standard search bar (see image below) is programmed to look for.  Does it look for words, phrases or names in posts to narrow the results?
2. For the @mention, I was noticing the results pull up all members that meet the criteria (such as first name), but in the case of a Group Stream, shouldn't it only show results for people in the group? 
3. For my main feed, only paid members of a certain user group have access.   I would prefer not to have the free members show up in search results like @mention since they don't have access.   Is this configurable?
4. I wonder if AI would be a good tool to inject into the search function, and if that is something being considered in future development for activity feed search?

 

And regarding the Gallery.  My apologies. I  had no idea I had not even installed CB Gallery, so no wonder I was not seeing it anywhere in the configuration or the front end!
