Trial Period expiration was created by adhillon
I am testing a free 7-day trial subscription.
After seven days the alert displays:
"7-Day Free Trial
Expired 2026-05-31"

but does not show option to pay and signup as a paid member.
Apparently, a setting has been missed.
Please advise.

What do you currently have set for your plans Pricing. The below for example would give a 7 day trial.

Is the first amount and period different: Different first period and price for Registration and Upgrade
First payment price of plan: 0
Initial validity duration: 1 week (7 days)
Regular Price of plan: 50
Regular Validity duration: 1 year

After their free trial they'll have to renew into the paid 1 year duration. It does not auto renew unless you're using auto recurring payments.

I want to alert users via email on the 6th day of the 7-day trial, before the credit card is charged.
How can I configure this?

Best way to do that is using CBSubs Mailer. It lets you schedule emails based off various conditions of your plans. For example the below would send 1 day before plan expiration.

Automatically send message starting at: 1 day (24 hours) before
Relative to this date: Subscription's Expiry Date
Maximum messages per customer (0=unlimited): 1

This should ensure it's only ever sent once for that plan per customer. This can be customized further with conditions and other parameters. You'll then want to run the CBSubs Mass Mailer URL via CRON regularly (typically recommended daily during downtime), which can be found in the CBSubs automation settings.

CBSubs Mailer global configuration is within CB Paid Subscriptions > Settings > Mailer.
