Fatal Error in CB Captcha

Fatal Error in CB Captcha was created by Ian B
Hi,
I recently became aware of an error in my CB Captcha plugin. I have upgraded from CB 1.9.1 and now have CB 2.0.8 on a localhost copy of the site. This hasn't resolved the error. I am unable to open the plugin and there is a warning symbol in the installed column instead of a tick. I have upgraded to the latest version of CB Captcha - 2.4 and have deleted and reinstalled this plugin; the error remains. I have attached an image of the error screen that appears when trying to open the plugin.

Does anyone have a suggested fix for this please?

Remove the captcha add-on and use the CB Antispam one instead.
