i totally forgot about this topic i made here, man thats a long time ago.
i still have a old backup of the site i used then, but im don't know in wich lines these codes were made.
but the system was pretty easy, it was just a query that was send when someone posted on JB, then he go his points and i created a new field on CB to show how many points the user had, then once he downloaded something points were taken.
that was practicly it a friend of mine told me he wanted to make some kind of component for it, but he never worked more on it so im sorry to everyone who really wanted this.:blush:
Maybe instead of dissing on this we can all be proactive.
What is it you want a points system to do?
I have been looking at other point systems and you get so many points for commenting, writing articles and inviting users.
So what do you want a user points to do? Then look in the database and see if we are able to count that action. For instance we can count how many articles and particular user wrote but can we count how many people he/she has invited to the site.
