Problem with Approved and Enabled activation

Problem with Approved and Enabled activation was created by albatros85

I am using Joomla 1.5.
When I activate Approved it activates Enabled as well...
Embarassing when the member gets an automated password before paying his subscription.
Anybody had that problem as well?
Need help.
Any idea or solution?
