Guess closest is the CB Conditionals plugin that you can use to do this.

I finally managed to get the tabs removed, it's only a question of giving the correct rights to the users in the CB component, but altough the tabs don't appear anymore, all items still appear in the Joomla admin menu, which looks strange... don't know if there is anything I can do to have those remove from menu as well, or if this is a CB bug ?
CB COnditional plugin is part of the Professional membership package.
With it you can configure that tabs and fields are conditionally available based on other field values.
