Community builder giving login issues

I need some help with an issue .

I want to use the joomla login module as I have a new component that allows adding,editing and deleting joomla members from the front end. It does not change the CB users.

As CB users and joomla users do not auto sync, I need to use the joomla members table not the CB one.

But if the cb login module is not published i get the message Error: CB Login module not created (required).

If I have it published and use the joomla login, it redirects to the cb login.

Even if I uninstall CB I get a 404 error.

How can I fix this issue?

Guessing this component maybe does not integrate well with CB.

Not sure what else to tell you rather than contact the component developer.

CB 2.0.7 by itself does not have any issues.

The developer assures me it does not in interfere with CB.

And when I uninstall CB my joomla login no longer works on the front end.

I really want to uninstall CB altogether as I will not be using it. But when I do I can not log in.

Any theories on that?
