Forgive the delay, we concentrate on supporting our paid memebers as they keep this project alive - these forums are meant for community members to help each other, but when we have some free time we try and help.
I believe that you need to configure your Joomla settings for valid image types and CB will support it.
Go to your Joomla -> Content -> Media page and select the options button to find the relevant parameter.
