User Registration Field Validation/Connection

I wanted to know if it is possible to have one registration field connected to another. For example if a user chooses 1st option from Field A(Single select dropdown), then Field B(Single select dropdown) will only display certain options. If a user chooses 2nd option from Field A, then a different set of options will only be availble.
