Is it possible to use JCE Editor as the default editor instead of TinyMCE as I find it cumbersome to add images using TinyMCE among other editing issues.

Your input would be appreciated.

CB Blogs should use whatever editor you have configured in Joomla

Well that what I figured but when I change the default editor to JCE the blog editor is blank. see attachment

Check your JCE profiles - you need to have things configured properly in JCE to get editor in frontend.
