temporary access (subscription type)

I understand there are many types of subscription types that can be set up. I am interested in setting up a special subscription type that would allow someone temporary access (i.e. 24 hours or specified time limit... or could be manually removed) to the site for demo or preview purposes. They would not self-register, but would be pre-registered (by admin person) and sent temporary access information. Would this be considered a subscription type that I could set up with CBSubs?
