Will CBSubs work the following way?

Will CBSubs work the following way? was created by tobiasfransson
Hi,

I am currently developing a Online Educational
Business based on Joomla.

Before I go into my question I want to explain how
things are currently set out and my intended plan on
how to piece the selling part together.

Current Setup

I will be selling both e-courses (monthly
subscription & one time costs) as well as regular
e-books, audios etc (one time cost)).

Right now I have a course created, the course lives
in a section divided into 4 categories ( 4 phases )

You have to complete the first phase before you get
access to the 2nd one etc.

These Phases also have their respective forum
(kunane)

I currently have 4 user levels created through
JACLpro.

The course is accessed through a menu option in the
top main menu called Your Course (has it's own user
level to avoid non customer to see it).

The actual course is setup as a sub menu to the
"Your Course" however having the first phase user
level set so that only people that have bought the
courses see the menu option.

After the students have completed phase 1 assignment
they will manually be upgraded to the next level.

In order to handle the subscription and automatic
adding of the first phase level I had planned on
using AEC.

If payment failed for a month AEC would just remove
access to the phase 1 user level thereby making it
impossible to access the course material.

The idea is to sell this course through Virtuemart.

This is how it is setup at the moment although I
haven't installed AEC yet.

Questions about CBSubs

I get the feeling that CB Subs could replace both
JACL Pro and AEC?

Will I be able to keep the way my current setup
works or does the sequence of events need altering?

How does CB Subs work with creating custom user
levels?

How does CB Subs work with automatically adding
rights to specific content such as joomla sections,
categories articles etc?

I guess what I am asking will CB Subs to what my
current setup looks like? If so, how?

From what I understand from reading your description twice, you can do all of that with CBSubs without any hack in Joomla and CB.

4 plans, allow upgrades, show or not by default, set permissions on content, expire users, all is there in CBSubs 1.0.

One of the most successful E-marketing bloggers on the Internet uses CBSubs that way... his site implementing CBSubs is listed in the testimonials list of CBSubs. ;)

Maybe just buy it risk-free with the 10-days money-back guarantee, simply read the manual and try.

Does CBSubs support unlimited usergroups/user levels or equivilant as I will be creating a good deal of products/courses in the future.

Also would CBsubs support be able to help me set it up
etc if needed?

Also does any like coding need to be done. For instance I can't setup AEC myself since I don't know how to code it.

Does CBsubs have a similar or better graphical interface such as CB have?

Does CBSubs support Joomlearn Silver Edition
as I am looking into the possability of installing
it to add the LMS capability to my site. (Quizzes
tests, certification etc)

Also does CBSubs nativly support Kunena version 1.0.9? (I am getting tired waiting for a JACL Pro Extension Hack and everytime I need to set up my forums user levels)

- CBSubs supports 1 "level" per plan basically, and an unlimited number of plans (although it's not designed for 100'000 plans) as well as unlimited Joomla ACL levels (however doesn't manage those).

- Yes, we provide paid services on request, consulting, configuration and development

- Don't have joomlearn, so can't test. But CBSubs can control access to the components or any particular URL part/argument.

- Kunena access control is possible through URL access control or component access control.
