Hi,

in the last days (or weeks?) the captcha image isn't shown anymore. Maybe since I updated to Joomal 1.5.25 - I don't know exactly.

I use CB 1.7.1, Captcha 2.4.

I have some other installations on the same server - the captcha-images are shown on all off them - but not on www.baby-welten.de: www.baby-welten.de/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers&Itemid=392

I tried all the tipps given here in the forum - none works (see my settings in the picture).

Mysterious: The captcha-image doesn't appear on the registration-site, but when I copy the adress of the graphic, open a new tab, copy the url in the browser: The image is shown ...

Do you have any help for me?

Strange, the image displays in Firebug and through direct URL access, but isn't rendering in the HTML element. Do you happen to have any sort of caching enabled? If so please disable and clear whatever is cached then check again as perhaps the resulting display is being cached. Please also ensure $live_site within configuration.php is set to '' (blank).

Thank you krileon. Yes - strange ...

The cache in the configuration is disabled (see image), the System - Cache - Plugin is disabled, too.



In the configuration.php is
var $live_site = '';

Hmm - can I do anything else?

Strange, can't see anything wrong. Also compared to your test site which is working and don't see any major differences. The image src loads in Firebug, loads on direct access, and shows as a successful GET request in Firebug. However, for some reason the img element is simply not rendering. I've no idea what can cause this unfortunately. I've checked everything installed and nothing seams to be conflicting either.

I saw, that on the live site the image is damaged,

captchaindex-faulty.jpg

on the test site not.



Is this maybe a trace?
