[SOLVED] CBSubs and FTP layer

just out of curiosity - what part of CBSubs needs to use FTP layer "turned on"?

I generally don't like activating this for security reasons.

I can take my answer 'off forum' if needed

If you don't need FTP layer enabled for your specific hosting then there is no need to enable it at all.

Let me know if CBSubs documentation is not clear enough on this.

CBSubs does not need FTP layer enabled, if Joomla doesn't.

thanks... saw some other forum posts about making the OR statement more clear in the manual.

i went back and read the statement better and it does say OR

==== so no FTP layer needed in my case. i'm good to go
