meanwhile I have found out that uddeIM itself has the same problem, see TOPIC: mod_uddeim language-spefic link does not work .

And meanwhile I have seen that Joomla 2.5.2 supports menu item aliases for menu item shortcuts, too.

But still when I have menu item aliasses from a language-specific menu item to one in a hidden menu for all languages, then I get to the home page and not stay on the page of this all languages menu item when i change language with the Joomla language switcher.

So maybe my problem was a bug or issue related to the Joomla language switcher, and the work you have succesfully done for the CB links to PMS would not have been necessary.

If so, then I am honestly sorry.

But then the CB document should have told that there should be only 1 menu item for all languages for the CB component on a multilingual site.

Of course the solution based on my proposals you had provided with the step from CB 1.8 RC2 to CB 1.8 final works great, and I would prefer this to be done for uddeIM, too.

But if I have made you unneccessary work I honestly am sorry.
