is there any possibility to use the old coding / old language file (my customized changes) which starts with DEFINE ..... in the new language file 2.0 (it is a spanish language file - (havent seen any about it).
2) also i would like to know how to create an "additional custom file" where to make all customized changes so if i update the language file, that my changes would not be affected.

You would have to manually convert / retranslate the strings to the new coding form.
