Are german characters not supported in the activity stream? Currently they are not displayed in my installation. But only in the activity stream, everwhere else it works fine.

Looks like it is not set to UTF-8 but kyle (the guy from joomlapolis.com) will tell you more precisely tomorrow.

Your database tables are likely not correctly set to UTF8 collation. Check within your database using phpmyadmin that all your tables collations are set to utf8_general_ci. If not then change them and retest. If unsure how to do this then please contact your host and they can probably do it for you.

I did check the database tables and the character settings, they are fine. I also see when I enter text, that the characters are stored in the table correctly. But as you can see on the screenshots, they are displayed different. But when I do a reload on the activity streem they are perfectly displayed as stored in the table.

Strange! Bug?
