New members can't login after registration

1 year 1 month ago #333031 by Karin-su
Hello,
I am using joomla 4.2.8, PHP 8.1.16 and community builder version 2.8.0. Recently new members get following error message, at the first login after registration:0count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, null givenI have to say, this tells me nothing. I tried to delete or change the redirect pages after login, but nothing changed. I would be very thankful, if you could help me with my problem. All users who were already registered, don't have that issue.
Greetings,
Karin

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then retry. Now provide the full error message with callstack (remove sensitive data from the callstack path).

Your error isn't coming from CB. It's coming from your templates layout override of Joomla profile edit. Specifically the file below.

/plugins/system/helixultimate/overrides/com_users/profile/edit.php

Suggest contacting your template and having them fix their template.

I'm not sure why you're navigating to Joomla user edit though unless Joomla's privacy consent plugin is trying to send you there.
