conditions in auto action was created by uwe2023
HI,

I created a tab with a field in it that show a certificate. This certificate is should only be shown in groups from a special usergroup (retailers) and not on the groups of other usergroups. And not every retailer will get this certificate. So I created a checkbox-field certificate yes/no and published it in a tab.
On normal profile site that works good. For group sites I created an auto action as you told me month ago to publish that tab. That works good, too. But I cannot limit the output of the tab in the group site with connditions. I tried it with "certificate field contains yes" or "usergroup=retailer" as conditions for the auto action. But that doesn't work.
Can you help me?
Best regards Uwe

I'm not sure why you need the conditions in the auto action itself as you can restrict who can see a tab or field with CB Conditional or CB Privacy. Both support usergroups and view access levels. If you want the profile owner to control visibility I recommend CB Privacy otherwise CB Conditional would be best. Once installed edit your field then under Integrations > CB Conditional configure the following.

Display: Field conditional show
Field: Usergroups
User: Viewing User
Operator: Has
Usergroups: SELECT_USERGROUPS_HERE
On: Profile View | Userlists View

You shouldn't need a checkbox field for this.

Hi Kyle,

ok, thank you, I'll try it like this. Sorry, but I have another question: how can I display a userlist or members of a usergroup in the CB Content module? I didn't find any substitutions for that.
Best regards Uwe

Userlists aren't really meant to be displayed as modules. The only solution would be to use an iframe at this time or something like Components Anywhere extension. With CB 3.0 they'll be completely redesigned and allow for this more cleanly.

I'll see if I can get a quickfix solution implemented though. Maybe adding a mode to the CB Online module for rendering a userlist. It might be doable, but I can't make any promises. Will give it a try now and keep you informed.

Ok, was able to implement support for this in the CB Online Module as a new display option. Once reviewed and merged we'll release a new CB build release with this new feature. You'll be able to display search and users, search only, or users only in the module. By default it also hides the userlist title for a nice clean display, but you can turn the title display on if you like. Below is what this will look like when configuring.

Settings

Display

forge.joomlapolis.com/issues/9673

Note searching will send them to the userlists actual page. There will be no changing this at this time so no inline searching for the time being, but is something we'll explore in CB 3.0.
