SOLVED: Broken Capt. on Password Forgot page even when I disabled captcha field?

Hi,

I just installed CB on a new system. On password forgot I get a captcha, without the image, see attached field. This raises 2 questions to me.

1. How to fix the captcha image, ass you are now not able to read, type and pass it.
2. How to turn off that captcha for the Forgot Password page, as just unpublishing the CB captcha field and it is still there, even after cache cleaning?

That typically only happens if the captcha ajax point is not accessible. Ensure the CB AntiSpam plugin in CB > Plugin Management is public and published. Next be sure you've a Joomla menu item to CBs profile page that is public and published as that is mandatory to ensure plugins can be accessed properly otherwise Joomla menu permissions will block it.

Please PM (see link in signature below) backend super user login credentials and will take a look. Nothing else should be blocking it at this point then.

As a side note CBs forgot login is deprecated. In CB 3.0 it will be removed. I recommend switching to usage of Joomla's. To do so navigate to CB > Configuration > General and set "Forgot Login Method" to "Joomla".

Switching "Forgot Login Method" to "Joomla" solved it so no need to get the old CB method fixed as it is deprecated. But what is the best way to resolve the username, by a user self, if a user has forgotten it? After the password reset mail, the system is asking for that.
