Differently styled registration forms?

I've got several plans including a simple one with only a few fields. This doesn't look right with tabs like the others so can I display this one only in the Flat format and the others in Tab Horizontal? Is there perhaps a url string I can use?

Override the registration layout by URL? No, that's not supported at this time. It's not ideal for a URL to change the entire layout of registration so we'd need to look into making it a Joomla menu item parameter and exclusively accept that instead of a value in the URL. This might actually be pretty simple to implement (and a great idea!) and will take a look at it here shortly.

Was easier to implement than expected. I've implemented support for overriding template layout setting from menu item for Registration, Profile Edit, and Profile views.

This is currently pending review. Once reviewed and merged we'll release a new build with this feature. It simply adds a few new parameters to your Joomla menu items for those views.

Ok, latest build release now has this implemented. Once you've updated simply edit your Joomla menu item to CBs registration page and you can select a different layout specifically for that menu item. Below is what you should see.

 

This is for the standard CB registration and not CBSUBS. Is there anyway to add this for sub plans?
