solved/ phone number issue in cb users field

The field cb_telephone is not saved after filling number from the the cb user's management in backend. The phone number is a french one (xx xx xx xx xx) , in the field parameters it is set as format text with no validation rules...

We don't have a phone number field. So I assume you're just using a text field? In which case it shouldn't matter what format they supplied. Recommend checking your field settings carefully. If using a number field it does not permit spaces it only allows digits.

yes, this is a user field i named cb_telephone ,is category Text field , there is no validation rules.

All other fields including custom ones i added i correctly saved, not this one. I tried to change some parameters (ie visble on profile, mask) and remove forbidden words without any success. In PHP MyAdmin, the field is desesperatly empty. In console there is no error

Try running the database check tools within CB > Tools including the strict field types tool link. See if it finds anything that needs fixing. If still not working create a new text field and see if the new text field works. If it doesn't then you are hitting 1 of 2 problems. 1 is database column size limits, but that should result in an error. 2 input POST size limits which will not error and will simply not save (possible cause). To fix post size limits issue you just need to adjust your php.ini file (specifically adjust max_input_vars).

after running tools, nothing to fix  in database. I followed your advice to create a new field and...its worked. So, no root cause identified on my side but everything is OK now  !
