I did some investigation:
- I'm running MySQL 4.1.22
- PHP 5.2.9
- J1.5.9
- CB 1.2.1
- I copied these CB directories from the server
  • administrator/components/com-comprofiler
  • components/com-comprofiler
  • modules/mod_cblogin
  • modules/mod_comprofilermoderator
- I extracted the file cb_expert_files_only_j_1.5.tar.gz
- And did a directory/content diff compare with Synchronize It (tool to compare and synchronize directories)

I found some minor differences:
- some minor tweaking on my side regarding some look and feel (mainly css stuff)
- some differences in unix/pc format files

So I'm a litte stuck here.

The issue is likely a JS conflict. If all steps were taken you'd of disabled modules, plugins, etc.. 1 by 1 to see if issue is resolved. Has this been done?

I don't think this is a JS issue.

When I define the menu as 'show list' this error occurs. When I define the menu as 'show search criteria' this issue doesn't occur. So I think the way 'searchmode' is handled in the code is not ok.

Please disable items 1 by 1 to determine if there is a conflict. Perform an expert upgrade replacing ALL of CB with latest files to rule out alterations or outdated files followed by running CB tools.
