If it is displaying as a plain input box then you have selected the wrong calender type from CBs configuration. Navigation to Components->Community Builder->Configuration->General and change the calender type.

Krileon is right (as usual). I tested this and if I select Popup Calendar (old) I get a single field like you display and when I click on the field I get a pop-up calendar.

Switch to Drop-down "(+popup) calendar" in your CB general configuration.

Tips for understanding and solving your issue - Props to Krileon for creating this.

Alright guys, I'm glad my question gave you a clue :P but even so my DOB field is not working as yours is.

I tried both, the old calendar and the +popup. Nothing happens.

Does it make ANY difference if I select mm/dd/yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy or mm.dd.yyyy? I don't think so because I already tried changing it with no good results.

I have just uninstalled CB and re-installed it. I tried to make this field work before installing the spanish translation, just in case. Nothing!

Last resource: is there any way I can make this coding it? I know nothing but I'm a fast learner. I can open a folder, open a file and copypaste lol.

Anyway, thank you for your help so far. Enjoy the weekend. I know I will!

Format doesn't affect it. If it's still not functioning then you have a JS conflict. Use firebug or web developer for firefox to examine the error console and see what's causing this. Optionally you can disable plugins, modules, etc.. 1 by 1 until resolved. Also check with Joomlas default template to see if resolved.
