Hi Krileon,
The change to administrator / components / com_comprofiler / plugin.foundation.php, seems to have done the trick. At least, it let me login after it had given me the dreaded "session expired ..." message at 9:00 pm. Before this, once I received the message, I could not get in until 12:01 midnight. Once I made this change though, I was able to get in right away. I will let you know if it stops working. Anyway, thanks for figuring it out and good work.

Thank you for your confirmation, this will assist with our debugging process and has confirmed the targeted problematic area. Will further investigate the possible cause of this. Seams conflict related to a 3rd party extension, but have reports of fresh installs having similar issues so possible PHP release or a PHP.ini configuration that's causing it. At any rate you should not have any further problems. Please note it is low level security so you are losing some protection.
