Unfortunately I don't know how to create plugins.... also, there are other places where I wouldn't want to send the user back 2 pages. I assume a plugin could be developed that would allow me to specify which pages this would apply and which they wouldn't?
I imagine that this functionality would be useful for other CB subs users... Surely I'm not the only one who sells more than one type of membership/product on my website?

Probably not, but this isn't something CB can do, it can't store more then 1 URL back without getting into file caching, or database caching, or usage of session storage, etc... Any of such methods would slow CB down rather significantly.Surely I'm not the only one who sells more than one type of membership/product on my website?
