Fortunately found this thread. Absolutely a crucial feature. Sorry for bothering you again, but do you have a loose timeframe for the next privacy-plugin... and if "defaults" will be included?

(found the patch a,b in the forge, but it seems it belongs to another issue#?! Anyway, took a quick look at the files, but seems really tedious or beyond my technical horizon, sorry)

Bump? There are no files, activity, etc in the Forge sub-project.

I specifically want this to by default hide the CB Invites plugin/tab from all but the user. There's no reason to have other see your invites.

CB Privacy isn't our top priority. While important it is just a small part of what CB is. This does not mean we don't upgrade or maintain it. We simply work on it when we can and not above say fixing critical bugs or security issues. We plan to have much more controls of course with release of CB 2.0, which will hopefully have privacy controls built in making the necessity of CB Privacy obsolete.

Is the CB privacy plugin now integrated in CB2.0? Is it not?

What I like to create is the next:
Guest --> non registered user
User A --> registered user - member of group A
User B --> registered user - member of group A + B
User C --> registered user - member of group A + C

Then I created some tabs
Tab 1 --> should only be shown for the that use who logged in (personally)(not shown to other users....
Tab 2 --> should only be shown for members of group A
Tab 3 --> should only be shown for members of group B
Tab 4 --> should only be shown for members of group C
All 4 tabs shoud not been shown to guests.

I do not mind to buy the plugin, but I like to be sure that this is possible with this plugin in CB2.0

As far as i know, CB-Privacy does not have DEFAULT settings. So, if you want to restrict the visibility to different groups from the beginning... its not possible for the moment. Hence the topic-title of this thread ...

I notice this ticket is a year old. This is really important to get fixed. Especially with the Privacy Laws in Canada. It is against the law to display private information about people without their permission. Maybe US too? Plugin unusable as is because one can't risk exposing all members information. Thank you for all your work.
