As far as the folder com_comprofiler and it's sub- directories go; my permissions are set at 0755.

avatar uploads are stored in images -> comprofiler folder - make sure this also has proper permissions!

I checked the permissions to the /images and appropriate sub-directories. They are all at 777. I set them in my cPanel, so I'll assume the server can handle permissions that high. But still no luck.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks

No other thoughts - also it is difficult to handle 2 people with different problems in same thread.

Please start new thread, give full details about your environment and issue.

All of a sudden users and admin can not register or edit a profile. I keep getting a validation popup that says "Please enter your first name", even-though the first name field is filled in. I am lost and have no idea what to do. I need this to work urgently. Please help.

Looking at your page with FF error console:

Error: Element.extend is not a function
Source File: www.healingtouchprogram.com/plugins/system/rokbox/rokbox.js
Line: 10

and

Error: window.addEvent is not a function
Source File: www.healingtouchprogram.com/plugins/system/rokbox/themes/light/rokbox-config.js
Line: 4

Please fix these items.

Thank you Nant for your response. I have uninstalled RokBox and I am still having the same issue. The registration form is not working.

Look this is not Community Builder causing the problem.

Something else you installed is doing this - perhaps a newsletter plugin?

Easy enough to test on your end.

Just do not fill in the CB form first name field and see the real error that CB issues.

It is different from the one you are seeing.
