Hi,
I have users with Emailaddresses like this name@ag.kath.ch.
I disabled in cb configuration emailcheck.
But in backend the check is allways working and refuses such addresses.
Should it not be disabled in backend too?
No - backend will always check for proper email.
Sometimes ajax check takes a while (we are investigating) but it eventually finishes and you can save the user if the email is valid (even if the check states that it cannot determine if address entered is accepting messages)
I'm having the same issue....even on a normally formatted email address. xxxx@xxx.com. It just hangs on the checking of the email address. I'm currently letting it run and it's been about 20 minutes so far... Any thoughts?
Known issue, we've a bug ticket in place to review the email checking. It's taking significantly longer then expected and often failing. You an monitor progress at the below forge ticket.
