The absolute server path I'm using is:

<span>/</span>var<span>/</span>www/vhosts/http://www.resolution-nutrition.com/httpdocs/images/Month_One.pdf

I get an error page come up when I try to access it (see attached) and when we receive the mailer there is no attachment there.

I contacted the server guys for the absolute server path so I'm not sure whats wrong.

The absolute path should not have an http:// in it.

I have removed the http:// from the path and no attachment comes through in the mailer.

To see your absolute path navigate to global configuration and review the temp and log paths then remove the temp or log folder from the path. Now attempt your path. Example as follows.

Log Path: c:\xampp\htdocs\logs
Attachment: c:\xampp\htdocs\images\Month_One.pdf

I have gone to the place you have said and the path is this below. If i remove the logs which you have suggested this will be the exact path that I have been using.

<span>/</span>var<span>/</span>www/vhosts/resolution-nutrition.com/httpdocs/logs

So I'm doing everything correctly but it just isn't working.

Is there anything else I can do?

We're using attachments for our single downloads so it's absolutely working. Perhaps you have a permissions issue? Check that the path to your file can be properly accessed? Based off your path above try supplying the below.

<span>/</span>var<span>/</span>www/vhosts/resolution-nutrition.com/httpdocs/images/month_one.pdf

Ensure you've placed "month_one.pdf" (rename to lowercase as needed) in your "images" folder directly off Joomla root.

Are you using CBSubs Mailer or emails configured in your plan?

Hi there
We are using the cb mailer for an email to send out 5 minutes after the user registers with an attachment, then theres a new email with a new attachment every month. The client needs this working by tomorrow cos New Year is their busiest time. Your post above includes spans in the code is this right?

<span>/</span>var<span>/</span>www/vhosts/resolution-nutrition.com/httpdocs/images/month_one.pdf

It seems an odd path ;)

Should I not try this -

/var/www/vhosts/resolution-nutrition.com/httpdocs/images/month_one.pdf
