[SOLVED] Auto-recurring renewals

In general you can not edit a subscription and switch it to recurring and expect it to work. The customer needs to manually renew as recurring instead of single payments. Forcing to recurring when they purchase as manual in most countries is illegal.

That's not what I want to do, I want to switch all auto renewal users to manual renewal.

I guess the safest way is to email all the users and ask them to visit their subscription and make the choice.

Thanks,
Andrew

In that case you need to login to your gateway account and cancel all the recurring profiles. I've no idea how to do this with Authorize.net though so you may want to contact them about it. Then when the user comes up for renewal they'll just expire and have to renew manually from then on.

Thanks, we will email all members and ask them to check their subscription and they can then turn on/off auto renewal.

Andrew
