I had a few sites that I upgraded to J!1.0.10 and then found neither I nor anybody else could log in on the front end (CB Login)...kept getting errors saying I wasn't authorized, etc. Anyone else having issues with the 1.0.10 release meshing w/ CB?

ah. found out i was still running CBRC1 on the site. oops! 1stable runs fine.

Having bigtime problems myself. New users cannot register since upgrading to 1.0.10. Everything worked fine on .08 and .09. If I turn off openSEF then it works fine...just no nice URLs!

I've spent at least 10 hours trying to figure this out on joomla, cb and opensef forums. No one seems to have an idea other than some sayying that 1.0.10 is just more strict with URLs now.

I've done about 10 different suggestions but no luck so far. It seems that CB and openSEF no longer play well together.

Too bad. I hope the issue is resolved soon. There are dozens of posts about it.

It took me a good 12 hours to figure this out and I see that many are still having the problem so here is what fixed it for me.

Here's what I did...
In openSEF configuration...components...I unchecked "use alias" for this component " usermenu com_comprofiler"

That was it and now new people can register!

I'm somewhat new to Joomla. I have 6 sites running Joomla, doing well learning how to hack, but I have no idea how to correct the issue with my sites running CB.

Where is openSEF configuration? Is this a file or within the admin panel?
