help getting my CB looking like this site

I found this site, and it actually runs off Drupal, but I am wondering how to go about do the CB so it works like this. This guy's community site is so smooth and cool-looking, I'm nearly [I don't want to be so blasphemus here] considering switching to drupal.

You can achieve most of what is done there with the joomlaworks tabs/slide module, various cb new member/active member modules at joomla extension site in the cb section, and mike's video sandbox plugin. Just to name a few.

yeah, i've been working on it, having some decent progress. I just found mike's sandbox plugin. I think I want to try editing the css next. I visited The Golf Space and snagged a lot of ideas there--great job, Tony!

Not sure if you've seen this one yet, but the CB Superthumb module by templateplazza looks pretty cool. It looks good on there demo template.
