I received the following message in my error log:

File does not exist: /home/../public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.class.php

I did check this folder and the file is actually there.

Does anyone know what caused this error message?

What file persmissions are set to the file? (CHMOD?)

It's 0644. What should it be?

I had to restore my site from a backup this weekend and it's slowly dawning on me that this somehow changed a lot of permissions on files and folders.

All of the files in this folder are 0644 (except ue_config.php which 0766). Do any of the other files also have the wrong permission perhaps?

Sure, not something I wanted to withhold though. Just something which has become clearer now.

In the installation guide there must be something about file permissions, check it and make sure everything is as it's supposed to be as it should. Don't load a back-up if something doesn't work, have faith and push a little further
