Hum... strange.

Only frontend of CB doesn't show Japanese on my Joomla 1.5.3. Do you have any solution?

I changed comprofiler.php (line: 135) as follows;
[code:1]$UElanguage = 'japanese';[/code:1]

Of course, the frontend of CB appears just fine!! (I met my language!! ) So I guess my language files are no problem.

I can't write PHP codes at all, but I guess that there is a solution around line: 129-149 of comprofiler.php. Do these codes fit to Joomla 1.5?

Don't impair a mind for my lay guess, please.

Additional note (my steps):
1. Copy default_language
2. Rename: default_language.php to japanese.php, default_language.xml to japanese.xml
3. Open japanese.xml and modify the following;
[code:1]<name>default_language</name> -> <name>japanese</name>
<version>1.2</version> -> <version>1.2 RC</version>
<filename plugin="default_language">default_language.php</filename> -> <filename plugin="japanese">japanese.php</filename>[/code:1]
4. Compress -> Make japanese.zip
5. Install it via CB Plugin Manager
6. Open japanese.php, and change encoding: iso-8859-1 to utf-8
7. Translate
8. Upload japanese.php via FTP software

I found more issue.

I can see Profile page in Japanese by temporary modification of comprofiler.php now (see my prev.post). When I access to Profile page, CBLogin show Japanese.
However, if I go to Home (top page of frontend), CBLogin show English! It is very strange.

Please check this fact too.

Additional Reports:

I installed the following plug-ins;

• CB Galley (1.0RC2SR1+_plug_cbprofilegallery.zip)
• CB ProfileBook (plug_cbprofilebook_1_0.zip)

They works fine, however, I have some issues about language.
Their language directory doesn't work for me, so I have to copy them and paste to com_comprofiler/plugin/language/japanese/japanese.php.

Language issues are serious for me.

I hope that all issues gone in next release.

I tried changing the version to 1.2 RC and I still get the error:

Install new plugin from directory /var/www/vhosts/brazilspots.com/httpdocs/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/ - Failed

Plugin version (1.2) different from Community Builder version (1.2 RC)

I've attached my xml file. I using J1.5.3 in legacy mode, PHP 4.4.9
