Field manager problem was created by Camee
Hello, it's me again :)

Now I have several problems with the Field manager:

1. A click on "New Field" results in an 500 - internal server error
2. The same happens if I want to edit an existing field.
3. I loaded the sample data. As I tried to edit them, I got this error:
"Fatal error: out of dynamic memory in yy_create_buffer() in /homepages/36/d210377817/htdocs/libraries/joomla/application/module/helper.php on line 167"

I am very clueless about such things. Help me please

Hello,

the description of my hosting package says both of them, PHP 4 and 5:
www.1und1.info/xml/order/HostingBusiness;jsessionid=534E1BFAAFAFC3773C40FA511A7D01EC.TC31a?__frame=_top&__lf=Static (1&1 Homepage Business, click on the arrow at "Datenbank")

I think it's PHP 5 :)

Yeah! It's the first time I wrote an .htaccess-file and it works :silly:

Yes, the problem was, that I used PHP 4.4.8. Because 1&1 supports PHP5 on their servers, I only hat to write an .htaccess-file with the following lines:

[code:1]AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php
[/code:1]

Thank you very much for your help. I hope, I didn't stress you too much

Greetings from Austria,
Camee

I'm having this exact same problem... and indeed my system info says that I have PHP 4.4.8 and I host with 1&1. How exactly did you get this to work?
