Interesting point.
BTW, what happens on updating profile fields via AJAX? Does it fire the usual OnAfterProfileUpdate event... I mean, do any other things act normal: like CB AutoActions, ProfileLogger, CB Profile Notifier (3rdParty) etc.

It would be great to have an option that is "edit only one field at a time".

I agree, I think this will be more like a "correct" way for this to work

1.3.0 released! Confirmed it's working on J1.5 now as well. I've also added more fields that can be AJAXed; they are as follows.
