Looks like a known problem with profilebook 1.0 on joomla 1.5.
You need to add those defines to your language file, e.g. CB's.

First of all, please do following:
at that line 159 of administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.foundation.php :
add following line between line 158 and 159:
[code:1]
if ( is_array( $text ) ) { echo 'ARRAYTEXT! : '; var_dump( $text ); echo ' CALLED FROM: '; var_dump(debug_backtrace()); }
[/code:1]
and add following line between lines 136 and 137 of same file:
[code:1]
if ( is_array( $subject ) ) { echo 'ARRAYTEXT! : '; var_dump( $subject ); echo ' CALLED FROM: '; var_dump(debug_backtrace()); }
[/code:1]
Then replay the error and report back the corresponding output here so we can analyze from where and why this happens.
Please do the above *first*
After that, please do a CB tools -> check CB database, and fix if proposed, report any problems too.
I suspect you have some field types being wrong.
As usual backup first
