I have RC2 installed, and I cant seem to update the contact info in my profile. When I submit the form an alert pops up saying:

This e-mail is already registered. If you forgot your password, click on the Forgot your password link and a new password will be sent to you.

When I havent even changed my email. Then nothing gets saved :/ Why would this be happening?

This error is happening to me on 1.2. It happens when trying to update the admin profile and with a few other profiles. Haven't been able to verify if all users are affected.

Does anyone even read these forums? I would have thought SOMEONE would have replied by now maybe asking for more information or something.

Here's some information:
The server is XAMPP 1.6.8 (secured and config changed from default) running on Windows Vista (not my server or it would be Linux based).

The process of install:
* Installed fresh latest Joomla
* Installed English Language Pack
* Used a script to migrate users from Xoops to Joomla
* Installed latest Community Builder as per instructions
* Got error

Same problem, including "save" and "cancel" buttons not working in user manager.

No one seems able / willing to throw any light one this, althiugh various users have reported similar issues with CB 1.2 stable.

Please make sure that you have PHP 5 in your environment and not PHP4.

nant - thanks for the reply, however (as I have posted before in various posts regarding this issue), I have CB 1.2 stable installed, and php5:

J 1.5.9
CB 1.2 stable
PHP 5.2.6
