Best practice for CB with Seblod multisite feature?

10 years 8 months ago #232271 by IBeRKa
Hello @ll!

I'm looking for a best practice solution when using Community Builder combined with seblods multisite feature.

The problem is: one should use module "CB Login" instead of normal Joomla! Login module, BUT this works obviously different (and maybe better?) than normal login module. When going on one of the Seblod multisites URL, the CB login greets you with "hello, [multisite_name]" and offers a button to logoff - you obviously seem to be logged in with the user that Seblod creates automaticalls when you create a multisite.

At the same time the normal joomla Login invites you to login with the usual empty login form - you obviously seem to be NOT logged in.

Suggestions for the best was to deal with this?

Thanks a lot in advance for any helpful advice or suggestions! :-)

Kind regards,
Me

CB Login module needs to be used with CB. I can't really comment how your extension handles the multi-site usage as we didn't develop it. I'm guessing it's creating database sessions on the other sites and maybe also establishing the cookies for those sessions. Does the site function as if you're logged in? What happens when you attempt to login using the Joomla module when it does this? Do you have an active session for this site in _sessions database table?
